Thunder & Lightning

I swear today was the longest day in my history. Between work and visiting family there has been no time for me. At least now I can sit back, relax, and watch this beautiful lightning storm.
Aaaaahhh thunder and lightning. Frightening to dogs and children, I guess it takes a more poetic eye to catch its beauty. The way it dances and flickers across the sky, a single stroke of light and energy caught in a millisecond of time. How wondrous something little and so brief can cause such tremendous music and chaos. Like a lover to another, sweet passion and fire; Yet like spiteful enemies, destruction and betrayal. One moment, the perfect setting for a romantic viewing, The next, the downfall and destruction of homes, architecture, and landscapes. The perfect combination of fire and ice. Calm and serene, yet ambivalent and frightening.

now that takes talent

Have you ever had those moments where you felt like you were on top of the world then something stupid happens. You walk into the room thinking youre so cool then all of a sudden you trip over your own feet. You go to say some cool smart alick remark but choke on your gum. How about meeting up with someone in the park, say some flirty lines then realize the man you are really meeting is standing at another tree wearing the same blue t-shirt twenty feet away. My hats off to everyone who has had those moments, it takes guts to live them down but dont worry the red will eventually fade from your cheeks. Everyone has embarrassing moments even the richest and prettiest. The thing that helps us save face most is having a friend nearby to make you feel like youre on top again. But if you do happen to trip try not to fall and use your talent to go down dancing.

Fall

Falling in love was never said to be easy,in fact it is one of the hardest parts of life. At one point you may fall head over heels for someone special. Once you give them your everything you may be devastated to learn that was not love but lust. It's hard to follow your hearts pleas when your body screams out even louder. Don't beat yourself up about it for too long. Just remember love will find you, keep telling yourself that love outlasts lust. You know its love when you catch yourself thinking of someone when you least expect it; your heart catches when your phone rings, and breaks when you realize its not them. you know its love when you cant let go even when they tell you they are'nt interested in you the same way you are into them.Chances are they are hurting or confused.They might not know what it is they want so they're afraid to take the jump. Don't give up hope, take their hand and let them know that even though you are just as confused, you want to take the plunge with them I'm ready, take my hand and we'll fall together. <3

the friendship garden

in life we all have a garden of friends; people that help make you grow and bloom to be as radient as you can be. sometimes though, a noxious weed may pop up and try to break up the roots of your relationships. the end result??? a tattered and barely living garden.

one friend's bad influence can ruin a thousand strong friendships. it seems i needed to do a bit of gardening, thankfully i saved my fellow flowers in time. what about you??? do you feel yourself being pulled away from those you use to be so close to???

Wow time really does fly when you are busy. I cant believe its been almost a year already. What the heal happened. O well i guess its time for a fresh start. this time it wont be a class project but something i enjoy doing.
